Not long after posting this supposed hyperbolic message to her MySpace page, the fifteen-year-old died from Dengue Fever contracted from a mosquito bite whilst on holiday.
The teenager had been spending time with her family in the Philippines, on a break from her exclusive Sydney boarding school when she was bitten by a mosquito carrying the tropical disease, dying days later.
Pymble Ladies College principal Vicki Waters said the school community was deeply saddened.
“Natalie was a vivacious member of our college who loved boarding and will be sorely missed by all,” Mrs Waters said.
“The impact of this tragedy will be felt throughout the college community, particularly by members of the boarding community and her friends and peers going into year 10 this year.
The young girl’s death was the second to strike the school in one week, with the swimming coach Leigh Barnier, 21, having died in an avalanche at Canada’s Big White Ski Resort just a few days earlier.
