Ever wanted to look at a black and white picture and magically put colour in it with the mere power of your eyes? It’s not possible I hear you cry. Isn’t it?! Everyone’s favourite Jim has discovered a way to do just that!
Reading through this week’s b3ta.com newsletter I come across one of the most amazing discoveries known to man… magic colour optical illusion thingymajibs!
Now, if you’ve never heard or seen these before, here’s an example of one (A timeless classic image of Jim chasing Science Gimp in children’s musical boats).
- Stare at the dot in the centre of the image for 30 seconds.
- Once you feel sufficiently brainwashed, move the mouse over the image.
- Continue staring at the dot to see the black and white image in colour!
- Try moving your eyes away from the dot, then back again to flick between colour and black and white.
As Paul Daniels might say “Now that’s magic!”
I’m not quite sure how this works, but I imagine that when you roll your mouse over the image it triggers the release of a small amount of hallucinagen that everyone has hidden inside their monitors, put there by the Govenment.
